Real progress.
Real students.
Real relationships.
Impact does not begin with a finished building or a polished program. It begins when students keep showing up, leaders keep investing, and a community starts building something together.
Vias RD's work sits inside a larger need for youth development, education, and opportunity in the Dominican Republic.

What We've Learned
Students Need More Than A Field
Over the last five years, Baseball Via has shown us that athletics can open doors, build trust, and create opportunity.
Every practice, every conversation, and every relationship has reinforced the same lesson: lasting change requires more than sports alone.
Students also need educational support, technology access, mentorship, English instruction, and safe places to learn and grow.
Baseball helped us discover the need. The next chapter is building the infrastructure to meet it.

The Next Chapter
The Vias Learning Center
Over the last five years, Vias RD has built relationships, trust, and accountability through Baseball Via.
The next step is creating a permanent community space where students can access tutoring, English classes, technology, mentorship, STEM workshops, and educational support year-round.
Annual Vias Baseball Camps, local partnerships, volunteers, coaches, and supporters have helped build the relationships and momentum that make the Learning Center possible.
