Barahona is a spread-out city in a mountainous region four hours from Santo Domingo. Public transit is limited. Families without vehicles — which is most of our families — depend on motorconchos (motorcycle taxis) and informal arrangements to get their kids to practice and games. For some players, getting to the field is itself a barrier.

A team van removes that barrier entirely. It means players get picked up and dropped off. It means we can travel to away games in the city league without logistical nightmares.
